Recognized service (DGNB)

Recognized service (DGNB)

The "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen" (DGNB) has introduced the principle of recognized service in order to create transparency about which services have already been pre-audited on the basis of the criteria of the DGNB system for buildings in operation. The DGNB focuses on the promotion and certification of sustainable buildings and construction projects. It has introduced standards through which the sustainability performance of buildings is assessed. These criteria provide owners and operators with consistent planning certainty as to which award level can be achieved in the building. Standardized processes can result in cost savings on both sides. Cooperation with recognized DGNB service providers affects building operation in various ways. In addition to an improved environmental balance and simplified compliance with ESG criteria, users also benefit from the certification due to improved comfort. With the aedifion Sustainability Bundle you get all important software building components to operate your building in a sustainable way. As a recognized service, aedifion supports you on the way to your DGNB certification "Building in Operation".
