Energy management

Energy management

Energy management refers to the combination of all measures that ensure minimum energy use for a desired performance. This can include structures, processes, but also systems and human behavior. The aim of energy management is to reduce private or company energy consumption and optimize energy efficiency. Energy management is used in buildings, plants or companies. It also aims to reduce the consumption of raw materials as far as possible in order to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability. Measures in buildings can include, for example, improving thermal insulation or heating technology or using an energy management system. Such systems serve to systematically record and automatically control the various energy flows.ISO 50001 defines precisely these measures of systematic energy management. Relevant here is the recording of the energy flows in an organization, i.e. which energy sources are obtained and which consumers, e.g. in a building, occur. The status quo of energy consumption is also evaluated within this standard. From this overview, technical, strategic and organizational measures are derived to optimize energy management.

With the aedifion cloud platform, you systematically analyze your energy consumption and optimize it with easily implementable measures. The software makes energy management and corresponding reporting easier than ever. The aedifion energy management software  helps you to optimize the energy consumption of your building according to your needs.
