Data point

A data point refers to a specific information or measurement associated with a particular component in the building. It is a single entity within the data collection and can contain diverse information about the performance, condition, or other characteristics of a building system. For example, data points can be sensor values. If a temperature sensor measures the temperature within a room, the temperature value is the data point. Consumption data, condition information, or operating parameters can also be data points.
